Goddard House
Goddard House embraces the aging experience for seniors living in the Boston area by operating a high-quality assisted living community and by creating innovative programs which support our need for purpose, engagement, autonomy and choice as we age.
Founded in 1849, Goddard House is the oldest elder care organization in Massachusetts, and the third oldest in America. A not-for-profit organization, the community features seventy-five traditional assisted living apartments and forty apartments in its Olmsted Place Memory Support Neighborhood for those with Alzheimer’s disease or related cognitive impairment.
Residents at Goddard House enjoy a variety of innovative and enriching programs, including music therapy, Open Art Studio, exercise classes, intergenerational programs, educational lectures and outings to area attractions. Residents also enjoy three restaurant-style meals daily, inspired by the Mediterranean diet from the award-winning Brain Healthy Cooking program.
