Recently, we at Purple Flag hosted a celebratory dinner in honor of all the communities that have received Purple Flag Accreditation! It was an opportunity to thank all of those in attendance and give back to them for taking all of the steps necessary to receive accreditation, alongside providing them with the opportunity to talk amongst themselves about all of the great work they do.
We’d like to give a special shoutout to Purple Flag’s former Governance Committee Chair, Betty Brennan, and our current Governance Committee Chair, Carlene Rhea, for helping make this event possible. Bringing our communities together for fellowship and celebration is an important way to stay connected to each other in our quest for excellent care for those with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementia-related conditions.
Once again, as Purple Flag celebrates, we extend the heartiest of thanks to all of our Purple Flag Accredited communities, may you keep pushing the quality of memory care forward! We look forward to seeing everyone again at the next celebration!
